Noir is inspired by the classics cinema genre of Noir Films.

Noir 64 is a panchromatic film, that is coated onto a transparent polyester base. Being a polyester base, if you scan your own film, the negatives dry completely flat, which makes scanning easier.

64 iso.

36 exposures per roll.

Hand rolled into recycled canister.

Infrared Sensitivity -

Noir 64 has a spectral sensitivity that extends into the near infrared range (similar to Ilford SFX).

This film has a thin base, which means it can be effected by Light Piping. Please make sure to load in dim or subdued light. Also make sure to store the film in the black pot instead of a clear plastic one.

Developing Times -

Suggested developing times for Noir 64 at a standard temperature of 20°C (68°F):

- Kodak D-76: 9 minutes
- Ilford ID-11: 9 minutes
- Rodinal (1+25): 6:15 minutes
- HC-110 (Dilution B): 8 minutes

*Note*: Development times may vary based on your preferences, agitation methods, and equipment. Testing with sample rolls is always recommended for fine-tuning your process!
