From Kodak: KODAK EKTACHROME 100D Color Reversal Film 5294 / 7294 is a 100-speed, color reversal motion picture camera film intended for
photography under daylight illumination (5500K). It provides a moderately enhanced color saturation performance while
maintaining a neutral gray scale and accurate flesh reproduction. 5294 / 7294 Film has exceptional sharpness, and its grain
performance is excellent. This film also offers very strong reciprocity, uniformity, and keeping stability. 5294 / 7294 Film produces
outstanding results in outdoor and studio applications where moderate color saturation is desired. It is excellent for advertising,
nature cinematography, documentaries, music videos, and is especially good for telecine transfers and television filming. It can also
be projected.
Rolled fresh from a 400ft roll direct from Kodak.
Kodak Ektachrome can be developed in both E6 or in ECN2. E6 is the normal process and will yield a positive rather than a negative and will be your usual slide film.
Processing it in ECN2, will result in a negative, and will then have to be colour graded in the scanning phase to remove the green overcast left over. Once compled you get very bold colours (sample shots were processed in ECN2). The Film Safe are still practicing the process, to perfect it but first test roll cane out well.
Each purchase will come with a voucher for developing at The Film Safe for the ECN2 process. The voucher will entitle you to 10% off scanning/developing.
You must have a camera that can set the ISO manually as there is no DX code. If you require a DX code, please do reach out as I do have some DX code stickers.
